As you are about to find in the near future.

You do seem to spend a lot of effort defending a car you don't even own.

As good as this car is from a driving point of view, it still needs more development. The sad irony in my mind, is that because it IS such a great car in one area, I expect the same in the rest of the car.The emotional swing from loving the car to hating both it and the company/dealer gets tiring.

Dropped in to get the second new tailight ordered yesterday, and pointed out that the one they already replace is on the way out. What pissed me off is that the service manger claims he has never heard of this issue. Asked if I did not mind waiting on replacing the passeger one for the second time; would prefer that it actually have some water pooling rather than just condensation inside. So essentially, my time is worth nothing to Scion.

I'm not defending the FRS specifically, I'm defending common sense. Issues like CELs, poorly sealed taillights, jumpy/low idle, bunching/tearing window seals, etc are legitimate concerns that SHOULD be taken care of, as they are issues with quality control or design. Now, i dont believe that it shows negligence on the manufacturers side, because most cars (especially brand new platforms) are going to have some post-production hiccups. Squeaking windows, however, are going to be normal on any car...and as I said previously, blacklisting a dealer for not being able to solve an issue that is in no way related to the design of the car or QC at the factory just doesn't make any sense.
