The other night me in my black 86 was driving next to a random white 86 side by side and both stop at the lights. I gave him a honk and he just ignored me (seems to be common for all the other 86 drivers around here to ignore each other wtf). Anyway we stop at the lights and i see the passengers in the car behind me through the mirror all staring at my car, then the white, then back to me. They were on the edge of their seats trying to work out what these cars are.

Came out of to get in my car with a buddy after eating some lunch and saw a couple of girls taking pictures of the car. I clicked the unlock on my key and they jumped and started walking away quickly but couldn't help be look around for the owner

been lurking this forum, I just wanted to say that when I first test drove the car back in fall I didn't really get it . I do get it now though, its a real looker and very noticeable on the road.
I didn't end up with an FR-S in the end. However I can't help think that I would have been quite happy if I did. Congrats to all on their new cars. I can share a little bit of that same experience I had on my test drive. I had people doing double takes and snapping their necks to check out the car at the lights. What a beauty. |

I had a pretty crappy Friday but as I walked into a McDonalds two young guys were cheering me on lol! They were commending me for driving through the snow storm in the FRS.
There seem to be a lot of people young and old, who miss the RWD japanese coupes! |

I was driving on I-95 on the far left lane and I noticed a sparkly blue Subaru BRZ coming off the ramp into the far right lane. I thought to myself, "man that car is a beauty with the daytime running lights on." I figured I'd catch up to him in the middle lane and give him a salute. As soon as I got up to him, he sped off in front of me into the middle lane. I was like okaaay.. so I switched back into the far left lane, and the BRZ guy immediately switched back to the far right getting trapped behind a semi, so I gave up and figured he wanted to avoid any contact with the brother from another mother.
This makes me a sad.. |

Wherever we go I see people looking at it especially when we are entering parking lots. On a stop signal, someone requested to lower the windows and asked us about the car and price. Told us that is a good car and gave us a thumbs up. Complimented him too on his ride which is a Mustang.

Had my first compliment and "gawking" today - parked at Target doing some quick shopping and this guy walking behind the car stopped and nudged his girlfriend, pointing at the car.
Then as I'm driving to work (I work on a military base) I had to stop and show my CAC card at the gate and the enlisted girl goes "So is this car fast?" - to which I replied "It's not really meant for speed as much as it handles/corners like a sexy beast" to which she replied with "Damn, that's awesome." Hah - made my night
