Had someone stop me in the parking lot of an HEB (grocery store) and ask me how it drives...said it looked "super clean" which I did not take to mean in the literal sense of the word (even though it was actually super clean).

Then not more than ten minutes later a guy in a beat up old ford tarus got upset at me passing him (at like a mile an hour faster) so he guns it past me and then falls back...I think he wanted to race.

I've owned the car for a little more than 24 hours.

Also, go to Costco. Their employees are some of the best paid in the business with the best benefits. It's just like sam's club but everyone seems content to be there instead of wishing they were dead.

Experienced my first "ricer fly by" with an S2000 on the freeway after owning it for less than 48 hours. He followed me in my blindspot for a quarter mile than downshifted into vtec mode and flew past me at probably ~90... I have a hunch it'll happen a lot..

on the 2nd day owning the car, while converting my lights to HIDs, a middle aged man drove up in a 90s miata and said nice car.. beside that.. I don't pay attention to other people whether they give me thumbs up or thumbs down when I drive my car haha

Walked out of the gas station (getting quarters to air up a tire that kicks going low) and found a lady taking pictures of my car.

We had a quick conversation and she was off.

Oh to be single and driving this car.

filled up 2 gallons on chev gas station really quick and had them guys that sell them nas car cleaning thing and said is that the new scion ? i said yeah... how much mile per gallon? 30miles.. wow nice.. im still breaking the engine.. i see so when the engine is broken in you will get 40+ miles per gallon then? i said no because i will be oping her up more

he was like thats cool and nice car

he tot breaking in a engine will increase mileage

i dunno yet, seems like my coworkers are almost as excited to ride in my car as i am to have it.

*shrugs* Personally, when I saw one on the road I drove like a mad women to catch up, and when I did-I drove nice and slow to get a nice long look at it on the road.

Yeah, our car is a hot topic on the Miata forum. There were a bunch of us that jumped ship.

Well my boss was jelous and acted like a total ass about me getting it. Other than that I usually get shock and awe and due to the industry I'm in questions about cost are normal cause cooks don't usually make enough to afford something like this. But I have seen random people taking pics of my car. Usually kids from the high school by work.
