CEL Of Death

Just passed 10k today and got the CEL of death. Slip light + CEL.

No words can describe how pissed I am right now.

Hahahaha. Love it. Toyota dealer is already pointing the finger at my N1. Please tell me how a catback connects to your TSB for this issue.

Fixed. Gas cap wasn't on all the way. And we're not allowed to pump our own gas in NJ...

It doesn't make sense. That causes the ENTIRE car to go into a limp mode?! Cut my RPMs and power because of the GAS CAP?!

Loose gas caps are probably the cause of 50% of CELs. Be happy that's all it was!

Why is that? Is it a Unionized thing or something? Do people aspire for those jobs?!

There's been more than one time I'd be happy to pick that job up including right now. Unemployment sucks.

NJ and Oregon are the only two states with dedicated gas station attendants. Being from NJ, I have to say, it's awesome. I'll trade a few loose gas caps for not having to stand outside in sub degree temperatures doing it myself.
