Just passed 10k today and got the CEL of death. Slip light + CEL.

No words can describe how pissed I am right now.

Hahahaha. Love it. Toyota dealer is already pointing the finger at my N1. Please tell me how a catback connects to your TSB for this issue.

a side question: if you drive frs, how come the RPM back face is black not white?

Just got home and plugged in my scanner and used Torque Pro. Interesting code...

Welcome to the club hahaha

Fixed. Gas cap wasn't on all the way. And we're not allowed to pump our own gas in NJ...

ProTekk 02-08-2013 09:14 PM

It doesn't make sense. That causes the ENTIRE car to go into a limp mode?! Cut my RPMs and power because of the GAS CAP?!

Loose gas caps are probably the cause of 50% of CELs. Be happy that's all it was!

Why is that? Is it a Unionized thing or something? Do people aspire for those jobs?!

There's been more than one time I'd be happy to pick that job up including right now. Unemployment sucks.

NJ and Oregon are the only two states with dedicated gas station attendants. Being from NJ, I have to say, it's awesome. I'll trade a few loose gas caps for not having to stand outside in sub degree temperatures doing it myself.

Have to agree 100%. Problem is, when I drive out of NJ and I have to fill up......I'm like..how do I work this pump?
