At lower engine speeds the pitch of the exhaust is lower and the mechanical noise is much reduced so it's far more tolerable.
Gotcha. I actually thought about this some more...if I wanted to constantly be cruising at over 4K which is probably really buzzy, I'd have just gotten a bike.

To get this straight. I'm just swapping parts out and no tuning required? I find this to be the best mod to go, plus an aftermarket tune DYI from ECUTek.

correct. One would have to ask themselves...

" after I do exhaust, reflash, and intake how else can I make better USE of my power......TO THE WHEELS?"

Shorter overall gears seems logical. ESPECIALLY FOR NA cars.

Hell the HOT ROD domestic guys have been doing this for 40+ years !

Bet you money when cams are available they will cost in the 1000-1500 range PLUS labor and it wont be a simple intake "like" install either.

Seems like my goal is to stay NA, and get to 200+whp without going to the force induction route. But, that could always change when the Aftermarket releases the turbo kits out.

When? The aftermarket already has several forced induction options. You can find a lot of info in the forced induction forum.

Wow! The Hyperlemon WRX at Tsukuba was only 3 seconds faster. That's impressive for this car to do that with no boost!

That link says 55s lap times. That makes a bit more sense to be 6 seconds faster than just 3. The Lemon still has twice the power.

I really like how the BRZ carries itself at speed. Even stock it feels very poised. The BRZ looks like it has more finess between the two in these vids. I liked how it did not fight its own weight when I drove it.

Anyone here got a recommendation in the 4.7 area?

All I see is MFactory, which I believe is good in the Honda scene, (correct me if im wrong!)

It's a shame information for final drive is so hard to get.
I emailed Cusco Europe, US, Japan but no replies to my emails.
I would like to know when the 4.875:1 final drive will be available.
Seems the 4.556:1 is already available since a couple of months

It should be available now. But you'll need to run the matching Cusco LSD.
I've ordered the 5.125 (which happens to be a Toyota part) and MZ center.

I'm guessing most of the options like this and the one posted above arent compatible with an automatic transmission?
