It is. It's just not folded flat. There is still a lip at an acute angle.

Oh okay, I assumed they would be flat. Thanks for the explanation

Thanks guys,

I am going to insist they put the 255's on or I go elsewhere. If the 255's rub, I'll be able to sell the tires pretty quick and get the 245's if needed.

Think from the reading I have done 255 might be abit on the big side for the front..

We have 9.5" wheels with a 30 offset and 255 RS3's and only rub a very small amount. We trimmed the rear bumper a hair where it was rubbing and now all is well.

I am on 18×9.5 +40 with 255/35/18 in the rear and am lowered on Tein Flex Coilovers. Not a hint of rubbing. You are doing a +38 so you will be 2mm out more than me but looking at my car I see no issue with an extra 2mm.

WHAT?

You've got 19" tires on 18" wheels? You must be a magician.

You just need to soak them to get them to shrink up. Sorry for the mistype.

I don't think 255's will fit with stock struts, but if you're on coilovers with the right offset they should fit.

They will, as demonstrated a dozen times. You just need the proper offset for it to work.
