all you need is two light coats of this. it makes the tail look OEM. i had them cleared then with an automotive style clear made for paint. obviously, they were masked off for the clear part. came out GREAT.

When you said you "had them cleared" do you mean that you took them to a body shop to have them cleared or did you just use a rattle can clear... I think I'm gonna try this. Looks so sexy.

my bumper guy who comes to the dealer cleared them with a mixture made for clearing car bumpers. you need to buy a urethane based clear, as that is what it was.
