Will do.. Is there a page for vins like mine that still have reoccurring problems? I don't now much about this tranny, but i get that weird feel with the clutch, and rough shifts.. they don't happen to in very smoothly. Makes me kinda sad, especially when my 1992 Honda Civic VX (DD) shifts more smoothly than this 2013 model car. We'll see..

what they did to mine. cam shafts and lsv valves for 1st fix. Lorton is about 2 hours from me would have been worth a drive to the dealer that fixed mine. Oh well, ECU flash is his next step. GL to him

Well guess what guys! To my luck I finally got that CEL! Right after I left the Evasive Motorsports location. Guess none of this cars are safe to the CEL code fever yet. VIN#6055xx. Anyways ran it to the nearest Subaru dealer in Puente Hills. The services dude started as a douche bag, but once I told him that I was from Pendleton his attitude changed. LOL. Anyways, told me it was a "hard code" a "stability control code". They couldnt have it done by end of day. So I told him I was just going to take it to Bob Baker Subaru in Carlsbad. Don't want to name drop, but their customer service is terrible. They said they were closing and couldnt get me a loaner or a rental and that I could drop it off as a "night drop" but I need to find my own way home. Basically saying that I was SOL (shit outta luck) I asked. Can anyone just drop me off on base? She said NO!. So just in case if you find yourself stranded and have to make it to that dealer you already know what to expect. Will be taking it there Monday after work. No choice.. nearest dealer.

BRZ/860miles/CODE-Stability Control?/dealer on monday

Anyone noticed excessive engine vibration when stationary and idleing when the engine is cold? Goes away as soon as the engine is hot.

Error code was P0018. Fixed by replacing a cam sprocket. We'll see how long the fix lasts but it's stable for the moment.

I've always said that this motor doesn't seem to warm up very quickly or well. When cold a lot of weird things seem to happen as opposed to when warm.

Yes...engine is very rough when first started, esp when its cold out. Much rougher than other cars I've owned. Are all boxer engines like this??

I'm convinced that or cars have a terrible alternator. Hence the idle dip.

#219 UPDATE.

Dealer replaced cam sprocket. Car was in the shop for 3 days. Everything seems ok. The rear headlight filled up with water just before I took it in to have the work done. They replaced that too. They must love me. lol. Ill let you know if anything happens.

I've always thought that the boxer engine was very quiet and "low vibrating" because of the design with opposed pistons.
I've never had a car with such rough engine condition when its cold.
