On a drag strip, sticky tire, solid clutch, doubtful. Driveline shock will break u joints, axles, etc. Luckily, with money anything is possible. Why not tub it and get a ford 9" in there?? Lol

I think the work done is amazing - best you can get, but like the poster above says - its not an the real deal any more.

Someone will graft in something even more insane as time passes - but the real deal is the FR-S and playing with stock engine etc. A WRX engine transplant seems acceptable as its boxer and Subaru etc but a straight 6 .........

The guy just made the 86 the way he wanted.. What is the point of all the criticism?? Car sounds badass, looks badass, the owner loves it... I don't get it... I'm sure most who have criticized it would do it in a heart beat if they had the resources and money to do it. Those numbers, for a street car are awesome

I just want to point out that i have never heard of someone doing an engine swap for "moderate" power. To me it just sounds like dude has more money than sense. I think it's a cool swap, but let's be real here and just say that as a daily driver this thing is overkill.

Definitely a clean install though and i have a ton of respect for the 2JZ platform, but I'd be more impressed with something along the lines of what Crawford performance is doing with the FA20.

I may be crazy, but when did the 6262 become a "small" turbo? For anyone but a supra guy, the 6262 is huge.

Great for the drag strip, but that amount of power is crazy for anything but.

Still, how awesome would it be to show up on the scene with a 2jz swap?

I'd put a sticker on it that says "overnight parts from japan"

Its small for a 6cyl, but its pretty big for a 4cyl. I have a few buddies who DD 6262 evo's and eclipses. It really isnt too bad.
