Yeah I once made the mistake of making a comment on this forum and offend a lot of kids my age. I had no idea how many people got their car bought for them at my age. Pretty wild-foolish mistake on my behalf.

As for female drivers-I hate a good 90% of them. Always on their phone or tailgating others(keep in mind this could be due to my area-and just my experiences in general) Whenever I go out in my friends cars I fear for my life. *shrugs* at the end of the day it's about the drivers personality and how much they are able to pay attention to the road/others safety

I quite obviously don't re-read what I type.

Don't take it personal.
There's a hard core group of us OG's who've been around since the site started back in Oct '09.
I can remember a time when there were literally ten of us keeping the forum going arguing over whether the car should be called 86 or Celica...lol
Sometimes we're quick to jump in a thread and bash new members for not searching. We forget that some things we discussed endlessly back in the day are actually unknown info for new owners.
We all love this car...some of us were there at conception and others adopted one after birth.
In the end though we want this to be the best site for 86 owners and will try to make this a place that includes everyone. We've all come from other forums that were more like cliques and want this to be a family.
If you're in the PacNW flash your brights and I'll be happy to share my knowledge.

Ok, but what does that have to do with why people are nice or aholes on this forum? No one becomes aholes when talking about an MR2, so I don't see why I would mention that regardless of my SN.

Op hasn't scrolled thru the forced induction section lol..

This site is a lot like my gixxer site.. Gixxer.com full of racers gear nazis and such, GSXR.com is full of parking lot pimps and posers.. This site is full of "using this car for what it's meant for" someone posts anything up that doesn't add to helping the car perform, or a product that isn't making the same peak power as another product, then it's like a pack of wolves on a lame antelope.. Examples include putting 19's on this car.. Guy who owns car loves it.. Guy who thinks "because race car " and stripped down car that pops and vibrates talks trash because this car was designed to be race car..

The only time I don't agree with "people's freedom" to modify thier car is when it puts others at risk. That includes all forms of motorsports.. Cars, trucks, bikes.. You do stupid stuff on the road or to your car, I hope the maximum fines, penalties get levied on you.. You go racing in public streets, you deserve your car takin away.. You cut off cats for that extra 4-5 hp, you deserve the huge fines, if your driving it daily.. But with anything on the Internet, this is just my opinion.. Some people get all worked up proving thier opinion or right and fact, and everyone else is wrong

Some of them are so low can't get over speed bumps. Literally.

Theres a kid at my school with a lowered Honda, hes so low that he can't get past the speed bumps at the parking lot and he has to park outside the parking lot cause of his "hella low" car.

Hes changed the front bumper twice.

You can have form and function, but you can't only have form when your driving in the streets of Queens.

Oh I feel the same way, but I have made the cardinal mistake of questioning the brilliance of $800 to change the emblem on the airbag... they can be vocal!

My name is Lee and im an asshole.

Jk. I had the same experience with the RSX forum when it first started, the people who could afford the car back then was open minded and shared information to gain as much knowledge as possible. Over the years the newer people are just different in a short tempered immature grumpy bad manner....

So only time will tell what this forum is to become.
