Nah...Hate doesn't get ensue though if you make a thread about the MR2. Make one about a Scion tC and see how many haters come out to say something negative.

The MR2 would have totally been a Scion if the brand was around back then.

Just some food for thought...

This forum is way better than some of the VW forums out there. In my experience, the cheaper a car becomes the more nefarious dudes start showing up.

I will mention, as a female, the lady driver stereotypes are getting a little old. For example,

Member gets hit by "another driver"-response- Dude that sucks, sorry to hear

Member gets hit by "woman" -response- OMGWTFBITCH

Yup, it's a fact, there are allot of bad female drivers. But they aren't all hoes. They're someone's mother, daughter, sister etc.

I think it might be by the fact that most of the forum users are the original car enthusiasts, even though we lose them daily
They get the car and rather spend the time driving due to the fact that...
"Most users ever online was 2,541, 11-30-2011 at 09:24 PM."

As time passes, most of those people would be gone and we will have many people who bought the car as a used one. Then they would come here looking for solutions to car problems and therefore, be angry and stuff.

At least, that's my theory!

I've been rear ended several times (all very minor fortunately) and had many close calls with people cutting me off, merging into my lane and doing all kinds of other stupid crap, and all but one were commited by dudes. The "bad female driver" thing is bs imo...

His username reads like "snap oversteer", a well known peril when driving an MR2 hard.

^That happens a lot. Personally, I'm actually a little more aggressive/sarcastic in person.. BUT what you get in person is tone and inflection. 90% of human communication is body language. There's no font for sarcasm or humor on the interwebz. lol

Yep I definitely have to sometimes stop myself when I'm writing something sarcastic. I read it again and think "that's not funny, I just look like an asshole."

Yeah see I usually miss that step.. lol.. and then end up having to backpedal for it. Thus the "community jackass" title under my username. lol
