The Toyota part numbers originally posted by Jeff Lange are:
3.58:1 - 41201-80125
3.73:1 - 41201-80050 (OEM Base FR-S/86/BRZ)

4.30:1 - 41201-29606 (OEM MK3 Supra Manual non-turbo w/LSD) (Included pinion seal will not fit) Currently available in USA from Toyota dealer for roughly $700
4.56:1 - 41201-19557 Toyota Japan only, does not come up in USA parts catalog (Included pinion seal will not fit)

Auto Factory sell the OEM Toyota 4.556 in Japan for $500

Auto Factory also offer 4.8 & 5.1 gears which require a spacer (included) to work, those retail for $825

Revolution also offer the 4.8 & 5.1 gears for a slight mark-up around $920:

Revolution also offer the 1'st & 2'nd gear same as Cusco but for less at $1840
http://revo-tune.jp/catalogue/detail.php?id=288

MFactory also offer 4.44 & 4.67 final drive for $749 retail, these are not OEM Toyota parts but aftermarket made overseas (Australia or Hong Kong I believe)

I purchased my 4.556 from Cusco because of the convenience and because I didn't want to wait since I have the diff cover and GT LSD all here ready to go in the car this week.

Just figured I'd share my research leading up to this $$ purchase in case it helps anyone else in future.
I would like to see a STOCK BRZ run a STOCK BRZ with 4.55.

THAT would be nice to see.

Is the pinion seal an issue? Are they readily available to work with an OEM 4.55 or whatever?

Yes this is VERY much a drivers mod making better use of our limited power and light weight.

One of my employees says all it needs now is a sequential box !

Can't tell if you were serious or joking about the sequential. Regardless, when I drive my AT (I drive it in manual most of the time) it feels very much like I'm driving sequential box performance car. The final drive modificaiton has me very intrigued after your review - even moreso than I already was. I really want to do this at some point on my car along with software tuning for more aggressive shifts....

Thanks again for the review and info.

looks like i'm going back to trolling lexus forums any idea on year that the 250/300 came with a 4.55? on lexus's website the 2012 250's come with a 4.1..found a few local wrecked ones but all have the 4.1.

trying to figure out a way to keep this mod on the more affordable side before i give up and shell out for a cusco any aftermarket lsd's that already have an upgraded drive so we can i can just swap in my driveway?

UPDATE:

I have been looking for a Lexus IS300 or 250 differential to swap in as a way of getting the 4.55 final drive. THEY WILL NOT BOTH WORK. They differ in the way they bolt up. The axles are also different. At this point I am stuck.... Even if I get a unit that bolts up I cannot be sure the axles will fit. Any advice would be appreciated. I don't mind doing the leg work so the community can find a source of parts and even a DIY... But I can't buy both of them on a gamble.

a GOOD seq box is about 30k. If I had that laying around it would be a DP on a GT3. Either way my wife would divorce me and I'd be living in the shop but have an AWESOME shifting BRZ !

Oh yea so why no LSD? Is the torsen unit good enough?

Good enough for street. If I was serious about competition I'd have a Guard Transmissions unit with custom ramp rates, etc. but that's over $2K. If I can get the FD for $500ish parts and good labor I'll be happy. That's not happening for a while though.

UPDATE:

It was just confirmed that the IS250 DOES NOT come in a 4.55 final drive. I just got off the line with a parts distributor from Lexus and this was the information he gave me. I am still waiting to hear back on if the IS300 has it, but considering I haven't been able to find one anywhere I think we are chasing unicorns here. My guess is that there won't be an easy swap available. I will post back when I here from him again.

Ha... Well I know a good one is way out of range for my budget... Just sayin, that's what my AT reminds me of in manual mode... I know it is definitely not in the same ballpark as a real race sequential transmission.
