Oh man, when I was prototyping designs, and even just working with this current one, I never had any problems with that bolt, that was always the easiest one for us! We didn't include a replacement for that bolt because even with our bracket there is more than adequate thread engagement to properly torque the bolt.

However, that's good feedback, and we will stay listening!

Thanks to everyone so far, its exciting to see everyone getting their kits, and some of them getting installed. Don't be afraid to throw up some installed pictures in this thread either!

Got mine in the mail this morning and installed over my lunch break. Action is super smooth and it closes perfectly. Will post pics in my journal soon (no need to keep clogging this thread with more pics of the same.)

THANKS AGAIN FOR AN AWESOME PRODUCT!!!

Those brackets had confused the crap outta me. But I got the replacement bracket and all went together smoothly today. Very well made kit!

Got my replacement bracket last night. Took about 1.5 hrs to install. Most of which was retrieving the 10mm bolt I dropped into the frame of the car and going to the auto parts store to get a magnetic telescoping screw retriever. Probably only took about 15mins or so of actually install time. Works great and thank you for selling it at a good price.

I wonder if you could explain the sales tax position for when we buy in Australia?
This is in general terms for buying various automotive parts and freighting them over.
Do you have to add sales tax to each sale in the US? If you do and it doesn't apply to us, do you deduct that amount from the cost of the freight?
Just asking cos i'm a tight arse!

8.9 degrees outside, but I couldn't resist the install. 20 minutes later, my giblets have retreated and are currently not speaking to me.

Past that, installed and looking glorious.

EDIT: Oh, was there supposed to be a return label for the duplicate part? My second box did not contain one.
