You have an interesting outlook. I used to see you get into it with Gem daily. Now I'm starting to think Gem was the sane one.

LOL Considering I work in technology, I think my opinion is rather valid. There's a different mindset when going into a sales meeting for technology than when I'm sitting online deciding which exhaust to buy. Pass judgement all you want on what people say, unless you're directly involved, you don't know the whole story

Exactly, if he treats YOU right. People are getting all huffy about Bob and John bickering, when, in the end it doesn't affect any of the people getting huffy.

My point is people are making a big deal out of nothing. Competing companies do way worse things than very minor online teasing. LOL.

Hmmm...I still think you have an interesting opinion. I too am in the tech industry. Been everything from a Linux/Unix admin, to a developer, to a manager and director. I've worked on the side of Engineering, Support and Sales. I work daily with customers. My family owns a dealership for exotics. So, think what you want about me...but you don't know my whole story either.

Bottom line, is that a customer is a customer. It doesn't matter if it's in the tech industry...car industry...or landscape business. Customers (and POTENTIAL customers) don't like to be treated like crap.

With that said, I have ZERO issues with you. Just disagreeing with you

Just so there isn't any confusion, I wasn't saying anything about you. I was saying that unless you're involved with the people who are bickering, you might not know the whole story. I realized it could have been misunderstood that I was referring to my own personal experience.

Does anyone know what the dip in torque and sag in the hp curve are? I know what it was on my BMW and how my tuner cured it. He made the VANOS kick in earlier and it took the dip/sag out. I don't know if it's something related to valve timing like the BMW...

I don't think anyone has figured out how to get rid of that dip yet.. These graph are a lot better then stock.. I've seen some that show close to 50 hp drop in torque... So far the only cure I've seen is boost

He did not do this to his customers or in the public. There is a massive difference between his public persona as the face of his company and his private persona. He was a professional. If he went on whiny immature public tirades I doubt he would be the success that he was.

If you want to hold up and example of success, look at Rockefeller or Carnegie.
