Damn you Bilstein for placing the adjustment knobs on the bottom!!

Still interested though. Been waiting for these for a long time. I hope the price is right.

still looking for a good adjustable coilover. I can get a good deal on some HSD. I think these are the same as stance? (easier to get for me being in the UK) How do these compare to Cusci, Tein etc?

Those look like the Mini cooper kit. I don't know if the Subaru kit will be inverted rears. The fronts will definitely be adjusted on the bottom though.

Again, I'm suggesting BC Racing. They use them on their drift BMW, it comes with front camber plates stock, 30 levels of dampening, shock body height adjustment, and fully customizable spring rates. $999

Here's some pictures.
Stock on the left, BC on the right.

And here's them on my car about halfway max low.

^ Comparison next to an FRS on lowering springs.

And yes, they can withstand your abuse. I've drifted mine after the install, hit some pretty big bumps/holes, etc. I have 10k/10k spring rates.

The WRX above also has BC Racing coilovers, and he is constantly offroading with them, they are durable. And they have a 1 year warranty, and if after that if a shock goes out, it's a $95 replacement.

How serious are you about getting performance while getting a drop? Have you considered going higher end than a KW V3?

costwise to performance bang for buck, in top of the heap brands, performance is important- not trying to hijack OP

trackable slidable tunable kits, that can go low, Bilstein>KV3>GC/Koni kit, does either get one better handling /damping / longevity or real world grip performance really?

will the car with 2000 dollar konis not handle as well as one with kw3s worth 2300 bucks or bilstein at 2500+?(keeping strut bar and camber plates the same with all kits, will I see the performance difference anywhere but at the very edge of grip beyond my driving limits and on my credit card bill?(assuming I put Tein, BC and those brands in a different group for now) will there be a creditcard bill worthy difference in daily ride out of these pricepoints?

for those who have camber plates, how loud are they?

Yes.

High quality setups (not entry level ones like the KW V3, or lesser kits that are sub 1k) will yield more stability and better ride quality, as well as being more forgiving and a wider range of adjustment.

If you're local to us, we'll be more than happy to take you for a ride to demonstrate the differences.

The camber plates on our Tein SRCs make no noise.

SRCs aren't the only option. I'd look into every 2 way adjustable damper you can find that fits within your budget.

I have KW V2's on my previous project I have, and now with my new project, bumped it up to V3's, so I'm really invested in getting KW coilovers. Great comfort, that's one thing I needed, was a comfortable car when I needed it.

Great choice going with V3's

How dedicated are you planning on making the car for drifting? Drift camber, angle kits, etc.?

The two extremes I would suggest are the cheapest damper you can find with the stiffest spring, or a nice 2 way adjustable damper (e.g. SRC, JRZ, AST, etc.) that can accommodate a wide array of springs.

It's really budget dependent.

Everyone here loves V3's, but very few of the performance crowd actually go that route; it's a street coilover that is passable at the track, whereas my bias is toward track coilovers that also work well on the street.

Bilstein rears will NOT be inverted.
