Actually no I wouldn't the BRZ/FRS is slow on the road anyways. It's quick on a track with a lot of tight turns. I do go on canyon runs but stay around the top of the speed limit maybe a 5-10mph over and I just enjoy the road. I don't go racing from stop light to stoplight putting people in danger.

I don't know what your giving the business too.. Our cars are slow as dirt.. I would bet a v6 anything, would stomp this car.. Even a Kia or Hyundai lol..
I've done it before when I was younger.. Ive never raced anyone in the FRS.. I have on my bike.. But unless your one of the boosted FRS's your most likely not wining anything, and if you are they most likely wasn't trying lol |

I really like the hankook ventus v12 evos. Good value for sure, good dry and wet grip, and also look good. Good overall road feel.

i didnt see any comments on the dunlop star specs. those are probably the best real world performance street tire (at least in my socal weather). the rs3 is faster but thats kind of a
"street class" tire for racing. i also think its important that we dont automatically assume wider tires will be slower. newer compounds are able to do more than a lot of us are used to. in my driving career i have seen the fastest miata tire go from 195 up to 225 and now we are seeing miata specific 15x10 so maybe even bigger? |
