Best Tire for Aggressive Street Use

just wanted to get some brands of tires that would be in consideration for me to buy. i will NOT do autox or any type of tracking of my car with these tires, it is strictly for street use, i live in NYC where there are plenty of bumps and potholes but i am very careful with running into these. i race on the highways most of the time and am aggressive on turns and such. so i need a good tread wear that wont comprimise grip and performance.... im going to run 235/40-18 front and 265/35-18 rears

Probably would go with the Michelin Pilot Super Sport in that size.

For NYC you may not want 18s

Advan Neova AD08 > RE11, MPSS, *specs, rs3's, etc

What are you driving? This car doesn't even put out 200hp at the wheels. That's just a huge waste of money in my opinion. I've got 225 wide summer tires and I have trouble breaking them loose. Wider doesn't automatically mean better. Your car is going to be so slow with heavy 18" wheels and those big ass tires.

Lol knew someone would get butthurt over street racing. But I would suggest PSS, nt555 or NT05

I race on highways... Lmao and the end result to that

it's not a race unless it's between stop lights. duh.

but, the Pilot Super Sports are probably one of the better all around tires. I'll be ordering mine shortly. they're one of the few performance tires that actually have a mileage guarantee (30k I believe). lots of good reviews regarding tire life and grip, not to mention wet weather handling. this was my main concern, since I no longer have superman AWD and this car likes to get squirly when wet. they're $$ but if they last as long as people are saying, it'll even out.

I've had a lot of tires and out of all of them the best bang for your buck would be Hancook Ventus V12's and if you want even better tires you can get the Hancook RS3's but you will get like 10k miles out of the rs3's and you won't be able to drive in the rain lol. Nitto invo are alright too. very comfortable tires but the over all best i've had were the michelin pilot super sports but they are $$$ which is why i recommend the v12's
