Installing an exhaust before engine break in
Will this void any warranties or will it damage the engine at all? Or do I have to wait until I break the car in? I bought a Tsudo exhaust from my friend was wondering if I can install just the exhaust. Without the downpipes.

You'll be fine. I installed mine with about 500 miles on the car.

I've install my exhaust, coilovers and new wheels after 2 days I got the car with less than 100 miles on it. It "could" void your warranty tho. But the dealer have to proof that the exhaust cause the problem if something went wrong with the car

This is what the manufacture basically told me when i called to ask them about warranty:
Whichever part of the car that you choose to mod by yourself or an unauthorized dealer using a non-oem part, it voids the warranty on that part of the car and anywhere that the non-oem part affects. I wanted to paint my brake caliper so i called them. They told me even if just painting it, it can void the warranty. |

Nope. If you ever had a problem and brought it into service, they have to prove that the issue a direct result of the modifications done to the vehicle. If you painted your calipers, and your steering wheel falls off, how would that be related?
