Nope. Please elaborate. The only "change" I have ever seen was the color.

Thanks.
Prolly not. Those are caliper covers. Toyota referenced Brake Back Plate for their car and Subaru referenced Brake Dust Covers.

So it's prolly the dust plate that is on our cars. Maybe the dust covers have some form of integration with the brake ducting?

That is probably the brake ducts...the 02/03 Rs/WRX/Sti had those...it was a secret!

I bet there are a bunch of muscle car dudes in Japan saying the same thing about our special edition vettes, mustangs, challengers and camaros. Grass is always greener! At least we get cars really damn cheap here with really cheap gas.

Anyway, dem brake ducts. I think it's weird that a racing edition didn't come with the full sti aero kit. You couldn't really even add it because of the brake ducts.

If that is your question, it is the same question we have been asking for decades. The mfrs always release special editions, parts, etc to the JDM that we never get.

This is why me and @switchlanez have had to donate our kidneys to be able to afford all of the various STi, TRD, etc bits that adorn our cars.
The aesthetic pieces are just an added bonus IMO. I'm glad Subaru brought the same JDM engine to the US (same 12.5:1 compression ratio). In the past, Honda would bring slightly lower compression engines to the US, while Japan received the high compression engines. Japan gasoline/emissions probably allows for higher compression, but you still feel like you were cheated.

Bwhahahahahaha! Thanks bro. I needed that one. If I was an absolute JDM nutbag I prolly would because it would be an ultra-cool, JDM, mad tyte Yo, ultra-lighweight, mod.

But I adore my LED's and Fogs.

The "STi" logo is just the same on both of those examples. I can show you 25 different STi badges from different vehicles and editions, concept cars and competition cars.

The only change present in any of them is the color.

Yep. The muscle car, lowrider, truck, etc scenes are some hardcore car guys to their heart.

Because the cars (86/BRZ) are going to be for a one make race there prolly won't be any serious aero mods allowed.

Actually if you squint real hard you might notice the dot of the "i" is disconnected from the "T" in the top one but connected in the bottom one.
