I'm going to echo many others here, but what did you expect out of a 200HP NA car? Didn't the chief engineer for this even say (not verbatim) "We have the Imprezza STi if you want fast..."

There really was no confusion as to what the car was about during it's development so I'm surprised that you bought it with different expectations. On the flip side, you may be able to dump it at a very minimal loss since they're still a hot item.

The problem is that if Subaru/Toyota would have made a NA engine with 250 HP it would not get the mileage it does now. Then a buyer like me would have had NO incentive to sell my Mustang GT and buy it. I just don't want a car that gets less than 30 average. I'm saving 1,000 per year so far in gas with my FR-S. If they added a turbo it would probably be 3k more per car, also with less mileage. Up the price 3k and then why not just get a 5.0 Mustang with 400+ horsepower? The car has great looks, good mileage (for the type of car it is), good price, great handling, amazing 'feel', and two world class transmissions for the price. It's a well rounded package.

bad idea because you probably will barely notice those 20 HP. You are going to need FI to meet your goals I am sure of it

And just with a couple of modifications they are around the horsepower of the FRS. I come from VW GTI Turbo that with a couple of mods I am around 220wp. Now I need $3500 for a turbo or supercharge to be around 240hp thats a lot of money buy I need this bad I believe the car is under power just my opinion.
It is, but go forced induction !

A tune alone would cost around $1000, a lot cheaper than the turbo, and easier. I know this car won't slam you in the seat, but so far the power is not that bad really. I will find out on the autocross course later this year. More is always better, but this car isn't a wimp either. Compare it to a $50,000 car and it will lag, but if you put $3500 into a turbo you are still at around $30,000, not too bad I would say.

Ok kombat, I know how you feel but chin up, get in an autocross raceway and you'll see that you will see what the car was made of. The other day I was playing against a new mustang in the hills and when we got on a two lane road He complimented the car and me (Yay!!! jajaj) because He was not able to shake me. there's an event coming us and the PR guys want to go, My advice go have fun and see what you purchased.

P.S.

In going with turbo myself, check the Full Blown kit thread and tell me that's not impressive.
