Thanks, yeah it does. No more fascia plates or anything like that.
Only thing is that the car's built in USB port isn't working but there is a fix for that of course.

I've just managed to shave 35secs off the bootup time.
![]() I must say, it's nerve wrecking rebooting the radio after every tweak because there is always a chance of bricking the thing. I should probably quit while I'm ahead.

You pop the fake carbon panels off, then there are 4 x 10mm bolts securing the radio to the dash with metal brackets. Remove those bolts then the radio pulls out. Very easy actually.
The brackets looks similar to this: ![]() But with a square edge at the top which I had to press flat with a bench vice to make it fit the new radio.

Nah, it's simple - the harness that plugs into the Toyota USB port is straight forward, you just need to modify the plug to accept a USB cable from the back.

Yep, not at all. I'll see if I can find a spare socket though, I'm not too keen on cutting my car's up.

Would an old USB port like this help in anyway to create an adapter?

Nope, ther eis almost zero space inside the plug which is why you need to cut it.
Ryan - the one cable is running to the cubby although I don't need it for anything, it would be nice to have quick access for the occasional flash stick though. I doubt that plug would be expensive. If a sun visor is less than R800, then how expensive could it be?
