Nothing has blown up yet, but it has not been running at that power level for quite a while. Not sure how much LJ daily drives it, but I know its constantly being taken apart and put back together for more product development and what not.

I like to have this kit and pull up to a stoplight next to this dude.

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9784

slowly roll down the window and say...

Top Down? I suggest you put the top up so the dirt from my rear tires doesn't ruin your interior.

Just unbelievable what your team has done with this stock engine.

I am still in awe that they have not blown the motor yet. Hell I want someone to blow one up on purpose so we know what it will take.

Luckily most of us don't have to come up the excuses/lies to enjoy our hobby.

We can just sit here and remind him the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of miles of awesome roads that no state this side of Tennessee comes close.. And the people that really have to worry about the laws are the jackasses that run catless pipes and straight exhuast and then act like idiots on the road..

I am sure they knew people were going to slap on forced induction kits and most likely were tested with kits during the initial design phase. IMHO I think it would of been more dissapointing if the engine werent able to hold-up to strict demands the public expected from this car.
I agree, that's the philosophy of the 86 project, but 800 whp!!??
that's amazing.

But you can buy dank at the corner store...

Great weather, fun roads, beautiful women, sick cars, nice beaches, and stinky kush...Cali has it all. I miss it but I'll move back soon.

Sorry, off topic, back to the thread...

Cali is nice outside LA
North of malibu, south of Laguna, yes

beaches are nice but useless water temps unless you wear a wetsuit. Pollution that I can taste, and no booze after 2pm(?!)

I will say the dank is as good north and east of cali in OR, WA and AZ. PNW Beaches no, bitches yes.
