As much as I'd love to have everybody that purchases this kit to get a dyno tune, the truth is that this country is just too large. While it's probably fairly easy to find a tuner for a Mustang, it's far harder to find a BRZ/FR-S Ecutek tuner in most areas of the States with a dyno. That is one of the main reasons we provide a basemap for all of our turbo kits for n/a. I think over half the customers that have purchased our turbo kits over the years was more than a 10+ hour drive from a tuner.

The first wave of kits should be shipping out from some time next week. Can't pinpoint the exact date because I'm a the mercy of the shipper and/or customs towards that. Following waves of shipments as we get them done - there's a lot of people in line at the moment!

Any news on the intake system yet? Excited to see it, even if just a prototype.

Sorry this may have been asked- but to be fair there's 97 pages of thread to sort through... Have you guys considered an E85 base tune? Maybe as like a 200$ option? Or are you just leaving that up to any further tuning Last edited by zohare; 01-23-2013 at 07:01 AM. Reason: random Q |

I don't see any mention of changing Spark Plugs.
Is the recommendation to run the stock plugs? |

I tried searching around for a bit but couldn't find it. Was there an announcement about why the turbo now costs $4400 instead of $3800? Is it just because ceramic is a requirement now?

I haven't had time to announce that - it's mainly due to nearly 100% of orders being with ceramic coating. Feel free to send me a pm about pricing, though. We'll have more information soon. All orders till this date are at the initial pricing.

Directly from the website:
" MSRP on the kit will be $4400.00, and will include the EcuTek base tune. An EcuTek License and OBD-II cable are optional. Ceramic coating on the Exhaust Manifold, Turbocharger, and Turbocharger discharge pipe are now standard. " |
