Just a word of warning. Oil based products react with the synthetic sealants and gasket materials used inside door panels etc. I've seen many things go wrong over the years in our shop. And it's not covered under warranty, because it's not a defect of the part. It's damage caused by the owner.

Just beware, and ask lots of questions before you put anything on.

I appreciate the warning, but these guys use a special patented blend that is supposed to be fine for gaskets and other components. A guy at my work has been going to them for like ten years with no issues. Of course only time will tell if all the claims are true.

2010 Matrix XRS. No rust proofing per se...just the anti corrosion module under the hood and frequent washing....including the undercarriage.
