Congrats to you!
I couldn't wait - I joined well before I knew what I was ordering
I won't have mine until Mar-April.
As soon as it is in my possession though, the wrenches will be a flyin'
Me and my new Lagoon Blue Mica 2013 Yaris will be showing up on Feb 2.

Ken...I don't remember if you posted a test drive or not. Have you had one out yet?

Paul...I'll see if I can get my friend to pass an invite to Bill with the Asphalt FR-S, or get him to check in on the post.

Has anyone coming out done any wrenching/mods to their car yet?

That would be good. Thanks

I think Andre (slick) has put new brake pads on the car.
CBR600R has got quite a few items on his )looks really good.
I think the rest of us are waiting until spring. So far in storage I have beatsonic shark fin antenna. Have the beatsonic rear window spoiler on order ( arrival March ) Ordered some cool interior stuff today, red led for the map light, acrylic scion pc for the ashtray holder, 86 pcs for the cup holders and square console space, a Toyota pc for the little space beside the cups (all in black with red lettering), and stage 3 leds for the rear license plate. Am ordering the 5 axis spoiler from Tony Grahams February 6, square SL14 8.5 "rims from Klutch republic (Machined silver) and the Hankook tires 225 40 18's also on Feb 6 from tire rack. Picking them up in Syracuse. I have absolutely lost my mind.
I know Ken has a bunch of goodies stockpiled as well. It is going to be a great summer for us all.
Anything done to your yet?

Ken... Wow, you weren't kidding when you said the wrenches will be flyin'.

Paul... I'll do what I can to get an invite out to Bill.
I haven't done much with mine yet. TRD air filter, Magnaflow exhaust, Subaru trim panel on the inside of the trunk lid, and switched to Pentosin transmission fluid (huge difference...good stuff). I'm watching the progress on the Innovate supercharger with great interest. Same goes for a header/overpipe/front pipe combo. If I go that direction though, the FR-S won't be pulling DD duties anymore, so I'd have to sell the Mustang and buy another daily driver. I'm not sure if I'm ready to do that yet.

What do you guys think of this staggered configuration??

Yoshihara DY Champion wheels:
Front - 18 x 8, offset 30 (or 40), 5 x 100 bolt pattern.
Back - 18 x 9, offset 35, 5 x 100 bolt pattern.

Hankook Ventus V12 EVO (K110) tires:
Front - 215/40ZR 18 XL
Back - 245/35 (or /40, or /45) ZR 18 XL

And I need new TPMS sensors that must be initialized at the dealer.
That's a pretty big stagger for a low power car, it will add understeer and take some fun out of it. How about 225/40R18 front, 245/35R18 rear?
[I was going to say 235/35R18, but that really limits your tire choices]

Thanks grodenglaive, I'm kinda new at making Mods.
I may possibly go with 225/40R18 front, 235/40R18 rear.
A setup same as JoeBoxer, including DY Champion wheels.

Also thinking about a GReddy Street Aero Rear Wing
when it's available.

Question:
Can I use the TPMS sensors from my original wheels,
with my new wheels??

FRS_Ken, nice list!!

If anyone is looking for a FR-S, I noticed there is a nice black manual on display in Place D'Orleans Mall for their "Auto Show". Has a Bel-Air sticker...

A friendly reminder

SATURDAY FEBRUARY 2, 2013 10 am

Merivale Tim Hortons. In front of the Red Lobster (corner of Meadowlands and Merivale)

Looks like the weather on Saturday is shaping up to be a beautiful day. Hope all on the list can still attend. For those of you that are reading this for the first time, please feel free to come out and join fellow enthusiasts for some laughs, car talk and helpful advice. I know some may have their cars in storage and/or have some trepidation about these types of meets but since our first get together last June it has been very enjoyable and helpful. I encourage all the new FRS/BRZ owners to come on out.
