For the rest of you running larger rear tires: do you notice the car being more difficult to rotate? I mean without the brake bias being shifted rearward. |

For performance, please dont stagger this car. No need to as there isn't that much power. And it is much more costly since you can't rotate.

I agree with you 100%, but my question still stands; how much do the tires mess with this magic-brake-bias adjuster? Am I going to have to worry about cooking the front tires and ending up with a pushy moster(my WRX would do this on blacktop in summer in Texas)?
Has everyone decided the "pedal dance" is a don't-run-without-it kind of thing? |

The pedal dance just turns off auto-redistribution and it brakes like a standard car allowing you to trail brake. If you're an semi-experienced track/autocross driver, this is a big deal.
The bigger/better tires shouldn't throw off the brake balance unless you stagger sizes or compounds as the level of grip ratio of front to back will be the same as stock, I believe.

In two cars, with three different drivers, on a fast autox course, the Pedal Dance induced ice mode. That was during comp runs. We all reverted to the regular disabling of traction and stability, no more ice mode.
It may work on tracks and time trails, but on a fast autox course, I would never do it again. Last edited by Evil86; 01-21-2013 at 10:07 PM. Reason: typo |

I've speculated (without confirmation) that the stock brakes have a rear bias, based on sizing, when using the same compound front and rear. |
