3m Paint Film, What kind of product do you use to clean/wash your car

just as a title ask. What product do you guys like to use on your car with 3m Film?

You mean the clear protection? Just wash and wax like normal.

One thing I noticed with the factory installed clear protection. I think they may have went with the lowest quality film. There's a night and day difference in gloss between my Porsche and the FRS.

I had Xpel Ultimate film installed on my Porsche within the first week of having the car. The clear coat on it is much more superior to what was on my Evo X and current FRS. The Evo also had the top of the line Xpel film from 5 years ago. They didn't have the Ultimate film back then. After about two years the film on the Evo lost it's gloss. I'm thinking the film on the FRS will be the same way. The new Ultimate film is heads and shoulders better than what it replaced.

Just take a little bit of extra care and get the wax off the edges of the film if you happen to wax the car. I usually take a micro fiber towel and go over the edges. That's really about all you need to do. Very low maintenance.

Here's a link to the Xpel Ultimate. I doubt the factory installed 3M film is self healing. I may be wrong though.
