Plus, its much more difficult to hook up the steering controls to an aftermarket radio, potentially leaving non-functional buttons on the steering wheel, which is just stupid.

I'll take a simple leather wrapped steering wheel any day. The steering wheel is the one thing I refuse to swap out due to the airbag. Hopefully the seats don't have airbags cause I plan on replacing those.
Seriously, I went years happy without wheel-mounted controls. My Celica, all my MR2s all had the iconic 3-spoke leather wrap. I was content, thinking buttons on the wheel looked too gaudy. Then I got a G35 w/ wheel-mounted controls in late 2010. BAM I was hooked.

Cheap Hyundai and Ford subcompact rentals I've driven recently have wheel-mounted controls. Just can't live w/o it. If I see a wheel w/ no controls, it looks plain and dumb. I understand where you die-hards come from (see my first 3 sentences), but you won't understand unless you've owned one.

Other than all the buttons (which I'm sure many of you WILL WANT TO KEEP TO TURN OFF ALL THE IDIOT ELECTRONICS required by NHTSA), the interior looks very bony. Remove some cloth and you won't be far off from the VLN-spec interior. Sit in an MR2 Spyder. Doesn't get bonier/plastickier/cheaper than that for a modern sports car... this is a slight upgrade from that. Anything less would revert it to looking cheaper than budget cars.

I kinda doubt that push button start will make it to stock release.
On the topic, can a push button start manual be started by rolling the car and engaging a gear, like a regular key start manual?

I have buttons on my steering wheel. They are useless to me.

They've killed the look. 5 axis design is the way to go. I'm waiting patiently for its spec which I dont place so much hope

Hopefully, at least an air con to beat the summer heat, or else it'll cause drag when having windows down and cruising past 80-100+kph. By the picture, it has air con which is obviously optional.

I do NOT know how this can be?

A friend of mine works in a Toyota dealership service department and told me they had a meeting about next year, including the new Camary & Ft86.

1. Ft86 will have finger print technology & $85,000 price.(top of the range ?)

This just can't be true?

a) Learn on a beater

b) What do you have against motor swaps?

I like the look of the car. Nothing really stands out as awful to me about it all. The lack of grill is what appeals to me the most. Mk4 Supra's, Soarers, S6-8 RX-7's, NSX's, S2000's etc etc etc..Just a few cars without a front grill, all of which are seeexxaaayyy.

I'm a no grill fan haha

Bring on Nov 30!!!!!

why does the rumor of almost 300hp for the subaru keeps popping up? we all know thats not posible on a N/A 2.0 L engine! even the turbo WRX does not make that amount! so my question is, why keep spreading it?

I've owned both and prefer wheels without buttons, partly because wheel spoke size tends to become much larger once crap gets added to the wheel.
