The good, old riceboy and ricerocket days are back?
I'm an old guy, and I still remember the good, old days when people were crazy about modifying their Civic, Celica, Integra, etc. Note that many FRS owners are modifying theirs. I started to have the same exact feeling of riceboy/ricerocket again with the FRS. Is it just me or what?

Dear esteemed Sir,
I have available an allotment of window stickers in the pattern shown on my avatar. For a nominal sum I will supply you with this sticker so all your friends as well as yourself can proudly display the Japanese "race" symbol for all to see. Please excuse me if there are any typos. Yours tryly, Warren Bradley Mgugabe Lagos Nigeria

Man...this FR-S is fulfilling for both my husband and me. He'd always wanted to mod a car and I wanted a Celica in high school--wanted to be a ricegirl. Now he's able to work on my car with my full support and encouragement and I get to drive it. Love it

never left, but the types of cars changed... more boosted and/or drift cars these days. Hot Import Nights coming back is a good sign since they do big shows... My team/club did shows/street/track... but we had to start going to college and stuff, lol. Thinking about regrouping now that we all have real jobs, but now that whole real world working makes it difficult. Blah... |

I miss the JDM movement the most since that is when cars were simple and clean! That's good to hear. I still keep in touch with a lot of my friends who were in the car scene in the late 90's/early 2000's on FB. A lot of them juggled both the car scene and college too. Back in the days they were all about Integras, CRXs and Civics. Now they are all about Honda Pilots with a couple child seats and a bike rack.

weird thing is the Japanese market love all the kits, colors, and LEDs... the US definition of JDM is factory simple clean.... I like the Japanese's version better, lol... I want my car to glow-in-the-dark....
.... as for childseats... that's what's my wife's car is for. No backseats in my Civic, and the BRZ barely has one, lol |
