I'm sitting at about 2300 and did a 500+ trip both ways and no problems.

Just turned over 5000 miles and only issue was slight condensation in the tail lights. Dealer will be replacing them this weekend.

10,000 miles here, only had tail light condensation. Everything is fine!

Did have a problem with an aftermarket part, to lazy to post that again...

I've seen all your posts. I'm sorry to hear all about the problems you've gone through. So far I think I survived the ECU problems and it has been running great. Made a move of changing tranny oil to help w/ the notchiness problem and gettin a lot better. So far so good. You are welcome to come back here and there to contribute any idea you have about cars. One thing we have in common is passion about cars. Goodluck!

If you will be selling any of those gems you had. I'm interested on the oil cap if in right price.

*knock on wood first

my car is production #1467 so its fairly early on the line. got it in july. its my weekend fun car so i only raked up 35oo miles. My car has managed to avoid all the major issues such as the rough idle or moisture in the lights. Maybe its because i keep it in the garage. But it hasnt given me any issues.

Did you have to show pictures or prove the condensation to the dealership?

7k miles. No mechanical problem.
Minor issues I got are HPFP chirping noise, passenger side tail light condensation, and rear deck popping noise.
For all those minor issues, they came up with the TSBs fairly quickly too.
I'm comfortable with this car's reliability.

I might have the crickets, or it may be normal sounds that I'm blow out of proportion. I had my oil changed and now the car intermittently smells of burning oil, but i can't find any leaks or see any smoke. Anyone else have this? Also has noticed how rough the casting is on the outside of the block?

Just turned 16,000Km (10,000 miles) today. A couple of minor issues (door/window seal) and some crickets. Nothing to be too worried about...no regrets here.

This. But the rattles didn't start until I got a rather loud exhaust...

Yea after almost 11k miles nothing major.

Cricket noise
Condensation in both tail lights
Rattles pretty much everywhere inside (especially if you like to listen to your music a little loud)

I will say that be careful where you buy it at. I had a fantastic sales experience, but a terrible service experience. Its a small toyota/scion dealer and they don't seem to have the people/knowledge/parts to work on my car. I've been there 3 different times to fix my issues and still nothing. I even had to go back to get an oil change cause they didn't have the proper filters/etc. They needed to keep my car for 3 days just to have a toyota tech come out and look at it and document the issues. This was 2 1/2 months ago when they ordered the new fuel injector and 2 new tail lights, and I still have not heard back from them that they have received them. And because it is a first year model/production, you have to be a little more cautious as to who you let work on your car.

I also have a fear for my windows. Luckily my winter hasn't been horrible (though car survived hurricane sandy which is a blessing), but they automatically roll down and up when you open and close the door, when my windows are frosted over I cringe when I open the door and hear the ice scratching/breaking cause of my window trying to roll down. I'm hoping they tested this and it will be fine
