BRZ nestled in the garage for winter and I'm back to driving my lifted Wrangler with mud tires. It's still somewhat small but it weighs a ton, is loud, and cold...it's a lot like driving a tractor but when it snows...(or when the snow melts and makes mud) it's a good day to drive a tractor. Looking forward to getting back in the BRZ, if at the least for the mpg.

I thought my 95' Prelude SI with upgraded suspension and gearbox was the best handling car i've ever driven. I always called it my gokart on steroids, Got in the brz, Mind BLOWN! wow.

I used to say my wife's RDX handles like a cat on carpet. I may need to re-think that one...

My BRZ isn't here yet, but I felt very strange getting out of my Cube, into the BRZ to test drive, then back into the Cube again. Will take a bit to get used to being so close to the ground and not being able to see over anything.

llama_au collect a bunch of empty fast food cups (the super size ones, cheaper than cones), then when you get your BRZ lay yourself out a track in a parking lot and learn where the corners of the car are; better to run over a cup than scrape the curb, hit a car, etc.

I was driving a AT '13 Escape and a MT '10 Ranger pickup for 10 days. The sittings positions felt like sitting on a high stool. Now that i'm happily back w/ my brz i can feel how short shifts are :-) . I have to admit that the SYNC tech. was nice in the escape thought.

This car handles amazingly well. I have a blast driving it, and i love the looks it gets everywhere i go. I love taking it to secluded lots and turning off traction control. Also the luxury features are nice.

It is definitely the slowest car i've owned in a while though. That's ok though. Its a great daily. My civic still satisfies my go-fast urges when i want to strap in and feel the G's.

Haha, thanks for the advice but I'm a super-cautious parker anyway and this will be one of the smaller cars I've owned I was more hinting about not being over to see over traffic anymore.

Test drove a Chevy Silverado extended cab with a 5.7 liter engine. It was quite the beast but sure loved the massive torque.

I realized short shift is very important for manual vehicles... Those regular shifters feel so friggin weird to me... Its like every gear shift u begin to ponder when will it reach the end of the shift?
