FWIW, I just returned my Ca-Fi. I started having problems where the unit wouldn't start with the car (I had to manually hold the volume button to turn it off, then turn it back on). I sent the unit back (cost 177$ to ship) and Ca-Fi refused to refund the shipping because they "found nothing wrong" even though I provided video evidence of the issue.

So buyer beware. If you deal with Ca-Fi and have an issue, it's going to cost quite a bit of money.

In other news, I just ordered a replacement "knock off" that has a dual core 1.2 GHz SoC and Android 4.0.... You can bet there will be another thread started with tons of pictures and such. Oh, and it was 450$ shipped.

Ca-Fi's are decently designed units, but they're plagued by shoddy components and are notorious for wifi/bluetooth failing.

Delivery says 30-45 days, but I talked to the seller and they said it usually takes about a week. So we'll see!

Torque should work with this too. ICS supports USB adapters if the bluetooth is limited.

i keep flipping back and forth on these. i dont want to deal with ebay warrentees but its hard to beat that price. but the low price means lower quality components. so i still dunno. i plan to hit car toys or some other store and shopping around in person.

Well I will definitely share my experiences with everyone. I have a ca-fi knockoff in my other car and have had no issues with it so far, but it's only a single core 1GHz.
