True...but TIC/MAW always has good shit. Though like I said, I went Group-N because it was still rubber and didn't change NVH except start-up. I needed new mounts anyway and it was a cheap solution that provided the least cons for me.
Regardless of user experience I would always prefer tailor-made rather than adapted parts. While the use of a spacer may not be entirely deleterious to the design/use of the part, it says something to me. |

How much do these run? Are they available right this second, because my car is technically in a perfect situation to get these on since it's just in pieces waiting for my damn turbo to arrive in the mail...

No turbo yet...I am a walking frowny face right now. Just PM the cost and whenever you can come over we'll install them should be cake since the headers are off!

We are gonna install these on the BRZ at the same time as the turbo, already noticed a lot more engine movement on the dyno after installing stiffer tranny mount.

Cusco. It's just a normal lateral engine movement caused by sudden change in rotational force of the flywheel/drive line but it's exaggerated now since the engine is still soft oem mounts and transmission is stiffer.

This question is directed to Jeff:
With Group-N mounts on a WRX or STI, most notice after a few hundred miles that the mounts "break in" and the vibration at idle is NO where near as bad as it was initially. My question is.....do you think this ENERGY bushing you use, ..will "break in" and mellow out some of the initial vibration? Myles Williams RCE ps: Love my exhaust on the BRZ. |

And I hope Jeff answers, but I will add what I can:
I have urethane motor mounts on other cars, and yes, there is some break in over time. Not alot, not like rubber mounts. But alot more time, not two weeks lor just a few hundred miles ilke rubber. Seems heat is key for the breakin, normal use will do it, in time. |
