Because there is no such thing as a Scion FR-S. It is a Toyota 86, the only reason it has a scion emblem on it is because they needed something to boost sales for the failing brand.

I changed mine because that is the way the car is supposed to be.

Haha I wonder how much I added with these had to be at least 50 HP for each scion sign.

Lol I passed a geo metro on my way home and thought man those emblems would fit perfect... And my friend is replacing his Chevy truck badges with blacked out ones... No need to buy Toyota badges when there are so many other options lol.

Looks good don't mind that at all. At least you didn't put Toyota on it.

i feel like the actual car company has more say in what the car they made is supposed to be than some guy on a forum. im pretty sure there is such a thing as an frs.

The scion frs was designed by toyota and manufactured in a subaru plant. Same as the brz is. Same as the toyota 86 is. Are there differences? Yes. Are they the same core car? Absolutely.

+10

I drive relatively briskly and I find that I outpaced the lit area in most cars that don't have HIDs. Back in the days when xenons were only limited to higher end German autos, I've been installing after market kits to get the extra illumination.

And so far I've been very impressed with the BRZ's HID output and coverage. No issues whatsoever with my ability to see down the road and I can say the BRZ HIDs are better than most HID setup. No major need to keep flipping back and forth to hi-beam.

Show me one Piece of evidence that Scion Anybody had anything to do with the development of this car. The reason that in the US we got a Scion FRS is purely a marketing ploy.

Out of curiosity, can u show proof that subaru did anything beyond supplying a motor and chassis, both of which were modified by toyota? And the manufacturing after all the design work was done, which is not only this "toyota" that subaru "builds", as toyota owns 20% of subaru.

Yeah I could care less who built it I just like the car if it was a Ford or Chevy I would have still bought it. No point in fighting over who made it or how much the radio and ass warmers are worth to people everyone bought the car that best suits them.

I personally like my heated seats, navi, HIDs, alcantara, digital dials, dual zone climate control, and my front bumper. Some people couldn't give a rat's a**.

Some people like spending the few grand they save not having these options on other mods; suspension, tires, wheels, etc. Or they just save the money because they don't really care for the options. Who gives a hoot. The BRZ is not "better" than the FRS and vice versa.

They are essentially the same cars, get the f*** over it! If an FRS owner really wanted to they could swap out the headlights for ours in a few years when they find the parts in a junkyard somewhere (or buy them somewhere). If a BRZ owner wanted to im SURE they could find a way to swap out the front bumper.

Why the heck can't we all just get along?

These cars are like identical twins with differences in personality. Who cares which one you pick, as long as it makes you happy!
