1) good job on the exhaust.

2) Don't be suckered into the "Good Credit" hype. That term is just marketing spin from the banking industry to convince consumers to buy stuff they haven't saved up for and can't afford. [Enter the great housing bubble]. Debt should only be used to finance investments (things that make money). I.e. a mortgage on a rental property that uses the rental income to pay off the mortgage, or machinery and equipment (assets) that allow you to produce goods for sale (assuming the profits cover the depreciation of the assets). Borrowing money to finance a liability (things that take money) means you're paying interest on something that creates an expense. That's a very bad habit to learn. It is neither logical nor is it good financial advice. If you want to purchase a liability, save up for it. Cars do not appreciate in value, they do not return a profit, they are not liquid, and therefore are not considered investments. I wish someone taught me that before i took out a car loan. Do not become a debt slave.

So there is no muffler anymore, it must be loud I am guessing. What size piping did you use? Looks to be maybe 2.75" OD? You'll actually be surprised that going with bigger piping on these cars for exhaust can make less hp on the dyno. If you go with 2 3/8" or 2.5" OD you might see a little gain in tq/hp. Also just a side note, that when you eliminate the muffler it actually affects the rear diffuser/under aero of the car. The stock muffler was designed to flow air through the rear diffuser. Now that you don't have a muffler, there is a large area under the bumper there that acts like a parachute and will actually create rear-lift at higher speeds, which can unsettle the rear on the track/canyons. You can maybe undertake a new project though for your class and fabricate a piece of sheet metal from the differential to the diffuser so that it directs to air properly again
Something like this...

Also, looks to be mild-steel piping? If that's the case, some Jet hot paint for exhausts will protect it from rust, or you could ceramic coat everything, otherwise you might see everything starting to rust in a couple months...
Damn thanks for the info! I plan on painting it when i get my honda all premiered and ready to be painted. We have one of the best pain booths at our school. We have professionals do some of there body work there sometimes. It can be quite annoying. haha
But I will post pics of some ideas for the air to pass smoothly for some opinions! And i know someone will ask so ill post pics of the paint booth tomorrow too!

I want to create a diffuser from sheet metal that will bolt right up to the bottom of the bumper, and extend forward till the rear diff. Just need the (summer?)time to do so.

I kept everything but the muffler. My teacher didn't want me to go all out because he was worried about the day i smog my car. The only thing i took out was the HUGE muffler. (still have it just incase)

Ah, yes I forgot about your smog checks.. I'm hoping with mine I can get away with just a glasspack right where that resonator is and the rest straight.

Upload the video file to youtube, photobucket, vimeo, or some other site that will host videos, then copy and paste the link to it in your post. Even better if the place you upload it to provides the code to embed it into your post.

I know. I was recording while my friend was in the car. He was a little shy on the gas so I'll post a full video tomorrow when I fill my tank!
Thanks again for all the complements and advise everyone. Really appreciate it!
