I usually sport a local vendor plate but when I don't, I use the ones you can find at Auto Zone. It's not like the traditional frame, more like a small lip. It gives a little rigidity to the plate and it looks clean.

Ninja edit: my memory is going. It's the slim rim type...

I'll probably copy the color matched frame idea. Looks pretty good

I like the color matched idea a lot! I would just have to find a thin frame because my plate says "Pacific Wonderland" at the bottom and I would like to keep it visible.

I would totally rock that Boxer one if it was just black and white. Trying to keep other colors off my car...

And I really like the color matching! You should sell those since a lot of us aren't skilled enough to make our own :p

I'm thinking something black and simple. I just hate those little tabs for the screw holes. Wish there was a way to not see those...

Yeah i know, they screwed me after spending a ton of money with them. To not derail this thread here is the thread so you understand who you are supporting...... Cant believe they have not been banned after their fake dyno numbers and problems with the community in general.

I'm more than willing to make paint color matched (as in the correct paint code) frames if there is a demand for them. They honestly look really good and complement the colors.

Somewhat on topic: Does anyone know if the clear or smoked license plate covers are legal? I want to get one to protect my front plate.
