I actually received an email from my dealer yesterday telling me that it was due to arrive at their dealership on 23/1/13. That piqued my interest as 8/1 to 23/1 did not sound like enough time to get from Japan to Australia and transport it to the dealership from Port Kembla. I had also been looking at ship schedules recently and couldn’t see anything leaving Japan around 8/1. So I replied asking them what ship it was on and got: “Your 86 GTS will be on a ship shortly called the Centaurus Leader.”

Couldn’t find it at first on marinetraffic.com but then realised that it was spelt as one word on that site (Centaurusleader)… lo and behold it was docked in Townsville!

So yeah, it looks like the tracking website took a break over the Christmas/New Year period as well.

There are 2 ships that are one day apart from Japan and going to East Coast Aust. – Centaurus Leader and Baltic Highway. So if your pick up date is around 24~30 January (Brisbane/Sydney/Melbourne) it could be on one of these ships.
Thanks for that, much appreciated! Mine didn't get built until 26/12 so maybe a little behind yours but on 31/12 it was 'in transit' to Yokohama for shipping, so could be on one of those two

Will ring the Dealer tomorrow, as I know TMCA had some issues during that period - my pick up date is showing 7 February, so around a week after yours

Mine must be on the same boat.

The Customer Tracking Portal is intentionally behind real time. Just in case there are dramas with transport once it gets on Aussie soil etc, it buys the dealer some time so the customer isn't anxious about the whereabouts of their vehicle.

Mine went into production on 19.12.12 and also updated to in transit on the 8th. My tracking shows estimated pickup date as the 30th, but our stock controller is very confident that it will turn up at on the 23rd/24th.

For people who want to know where their 86 could be, look here:

http://www.kline.com.au/Files/Docs/S...DULE%20ACT.pdf

It usually takes 5-10working days to get from port to dealer (from the time it gets off the boat to get fitted with the Australian radio and boot mat then sent to dealer).

Mine arrived in 4 working days after landing

managed to organise a spare alloy and tyre - 17x7 and 215-45-17 for a total of $340

The alloy is 5x100 PCD 44 offset. so 4mm difference but OK as far a I am concerned for a spare, better than a can of goo!!

Does anyone know if the 86 still comes with a jack? If not, I better organise for one thru my Dealer

but who cares?

Just got a call from the dealer that my GTS MT White will be ready to pick up Monday or Tuesday!

Also for anyone interested, the finance has fallen through on a GTS MT Orange at Le Mans Toyota for delivery on Monday or Tuesday, if anyone is interested give David Miller a call.

I still have the tracking for my original Order placed 2 July - over 6 months ago, for a GT MT - 'Velocity Orange'

It's not planned for either January or February production, so even if March I would not even have it until at least May!!

Can anyone go back further than that??

Thank heavens I rang around and secured the white GTS MT!! Delivery estimated as 7 February next

Picked mine up from the transport company's depot this arvo. Got it blue slipped and rego'd all before COB. All good now!

Didn't wanna make a new thread so I'll just share some insights here.

Just getting used to the friction point now. The clutch is so light!

Its a lot more rattly and chattery than my old A/T that's for sure... but not 100% assured its all normal noises at the moment but definitely gives it a more race car feel... MT owners please assure me that chatteryness is normal? Yes this is my first MT car.

Its still a beauty and turning heads everywhere. Had a few bogans try and make me do skids at a no through road... that was a bit scary.

Looking forward to tomorrows drive.
