Tracking has finally caught up to real life. Car is ready to be trucked down to me finally but finance has held it up today... incompetent people ah well should be shipped down tomorrow. 3-4 days transit time hopefully good for Friday fingers crossed.

The front lip kit isn't fitted yet. It's to avoid damage when being loaded on trucks.

So when I asked if the kit can be installed without the wing and was informed "no its done at factory", they where wrong!

I dont want a kit anyway. I'm scared enough about scraping as it is!

It is factory 'fitted' to an extent because the holes have already been pre-drilled from the factory.

Dealer won't be drilling holes in the bumpers for you

Where'd you get that vessel name from? Maybe Toyota gave you the name of the captain! :P can't find it either man. Double check with them

My order changed to “In Production” on 24/12/2012 and was stuck until yesterday 8/1/2013 when it changed to “In transit to Australia”

I actually received an email from my dealer yesterday telling me that it was due to arrive at their dealership on 23/1/13. That piqued my interest as 8/1 to 23/1 did not sound like enough time to get from Japan to Australia and transport it to the dealership from Port Kembla. I had also been looking at ship schedules recently and couldn’t see anything leaving Japan around 8/1. So I replied asking them what ship it was on and got: “Your 86 GTS will be on a ship shortly called the Centaurus Leader.”

Couldn’t find it at first on marinetraffic.com but then realised that it was spelt as one word on that site (Centaurusleader)… lo and behold it was docked in Townsville!

So yeah, it looks like the tracking website took a break over the Christmas/New Year period as well.

There are 2 ships that are one day apart from Japan and going to East Coast Aust. – Centaurus Leader and Baltic Highway. So if your pick up date is around 24~30 January (Brisbane/Sydney/Melbourne) it could be on one of these ships.
