Failure of the ECU? What happened exactly??

I woke up late but motivated today. Weather wasn't raining so I decided to pull the trigger and get the HID retrofit, black headlight housing and JDM side markers done all at once.

I lost a bunch of time cooking the headlights I went with 225 for 15mins like the DIY said but it wasn't easy ended up going 235 for 10. Either way tho night came much quicker than I was hoping for and now this is how she currently sits.



Here a sneak peek at the HID headlights. (Currently waiting for 3rd coat of paint to dry)



Tomorrow we reassembly!

Almost done my Engine cover as well. Still need to black out the Toyota and Subaru areas as well as White the D-4S maybe

OMG...that first picture got me thinking that it was a big boo-boo... Thank goodness it wasn't haha...Jeez...don't scare me like that again!

Can't wait to see what the finished product looks like!

Kind of super choked

finished installed my HIDs, clear corners and blacking out my headlights but... while I was working my front bumper feel off the saw horses I had it resting on and hit the ground pretty bad. lots of little new scratches...

On the plus here are the HIDs and black headlights

Man... Just a strand of these bad luck ehh?... Well, at least the headlights turned out great! I like how you changed it to grey instead of just black!

haha I actually thought it was black paint I had or at least suppose to be. Its a can of BBQ thermal Black paint so kinda weird its soo great.

I messed up on leaving that silver ring a bit on one of my headlights but didn't notice it until after I rebaked them into the housing.

Yeah me and this car = bad luck but thats okay this gives me an excuse to save up for INGs bumper! Hahaha not for a long while tho

Honestly, I would like to see how a two tone headlight backing would look!...Lots of lines in there to play around with... Grey and Black would look cool...or Black and body colour accents...

Your car shaping to look A+ when completed. On a side note I took my car to Dent King just b/c he did such a great job on your car. He fixed a dent on my hood and now the cars perfect. Been bugging for such a long time. Thanks!

can you explain to me how this works, i hate getting pulled over and price for it? is it normally just a plug into jack install? > TY!

It alarms you whenever a K, X or laser band is detected it also does redlight cameras and there is a GPS feature that has locations of red light cames that gets updated. Only issue I have had is in area with lots of redlight cams (dt richmond) and how it goes off from store alarms (but has a flase alarm AI feature so I just need to give it more time to learn)

Only thing you have to remember tho is that its a radar detector not a cop detector and only works when the radar is on

Yep! I got my lugs they are sitting in my room right now. Going to wait until I throw my new rim/tires on before switching them over
