Today has finally thought me to calm down. auto cross is all out on the edge of losing control of the car. track driving is calculated movements but you don't get that feeling of panic like you do in auto cross when you feel the car getting away from you it's a different world of driving and having my problem gave me something else to focus on just long enough to beak the fear of losing it. My last run was ok but I was way calmer and know I could have pushed the car a lot harder a lesson I will put to use in the future. Thanks Kevin and Brent for helping me trouble shoot the problem and after some more tweaking I'll be ready to really start getting better.

Edit: This is why you don't tell your wife how fun autocross was and ask her to post a thank you to Brent and Kevin because she will make it sound like you had a spiritual revolution when you just said "the noise actually helped me get over my nerves I had of spinning the car again". Autocross scares the crap out of her she prefers road course track driving and goes to AMP a lot with her dads old trans am.

Also different tires that can handle a stiffer spring rate I'm sure you felt my pain today fighting to keep control of a car with coilovers on stock tires and you adjusted yours mine are just slapped on I need to get it all on and then adjust it where it needs to be

Alignment done, -0.5 camber up front, though the back is really ugly. Looks like I'll need to get rear control arms just to get close to spec. My passenger rear camber is -2.6, the driver side is -1.8.

Gonna start prepping the car for turbo today, because it arrives tomorrow!!! I'll post up some pics as I find interesting things to take pictures of! I think I might pull apart my headlights and paint them since I'll have the bumper off.

Are you going to be doing the install by yourself?

Yeah, unless anyone wants to come help out. I don't know when i will actually start putting it together...but I'm pretty sure I will want to start as soon as the rest of the kit arrives.

That is so freakin' funny. Autox is completely about dealing with terror. When I ride with some of my buddies I''ll whimper the whole time. This last weekend I rode in a cps miata, and I was scared crapless. And I really like it when my passengers exit my car breathless.

Too bad you had to leave, you are constantly improving as is Ninjin (who intends to go to an evolution autox school, which means he will beome faster) and The Sleeper (which is a good handle because she all sweet and demure, but seat her in a car, and give her an autox course, and she is all kinds of agro - a sleeper).
