Sorry guys, how much weighed the prototype to the NURB ???

I just looked up the actual race results; the FT86 was in "Class Special 3", meaning 1750 to 2000 cc non-turbo engine non-production car. There were only 5 in the class, and the FT86 finished 3rd, a full 3 laps down on the 1st place Civic Type R. Bummer it didn't do better, however at least it finished the race.

1st place civic = 265bhp, 1000kg, 13" brakes and a very well sorted suspension with drivers who have been to the ring many times.

Thanks, skimmed the thread and didn't see that posted elsewhere. Certainly helps put the FT-86's performance in perspective.

It finished close behind the s2k...by the sound of that it's pretty impressive to me

So you gonna put aftermarket turbo to FRS. That's completely different story here. aftermarket stuff, it's only $ is stopping you from stay side by side with an EVO (& your driving skill).
