Put me on the list. I can honestly say that I never thought or bought product after product from any car mod company before. I don't know if this has been answered before but do these hood struts lift the hood to at least the vertical position so in case I have to work on the engine with a hoist I would not have to take out the hood strut, if it can honestly everyone should get one.

Thanks, we appreciate it! It doesn't necessarily lift the hood to the full vertical, designing a package that gets the hood to our current angle was difficult enough to achieve. However, I assume you will not be pulling your motor out too much, BUT incase you like to yank that sucker out every other day:

You can quickly disconnect the struts to lift the hood the rest of the way by removing a pin at the ball cups. OR you can just undo the 10mm bolt holding the lower bracket down. Whats two more bolts when you're pulling an entire motor?

BUT here is the video of where our struts lift to, the position of the prop rod at full lift is about 6 inches away from the hood.

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE! Lets add some people:

Haha, most people won't like that gigantic logo on a product that we've designed in such a clean fashion. Those are just our standard stickers that we provide with almost every product we sell. So adding them yourself should be easy.

I promise our lower brackets are better too... And gas struts... And hardware... And customer service. An excellent choice, you're in!
