Can't do Friday or Saturday night this weekend, but I would be up for Saturday morning or early afternoon.

I'd suggest either Mulholland / Malibu Canyons, or Canyons north of Santa Clarita like Boquet, Spunky, Pine, etc.

Gonna see if I can hit up Little Tujunga tonight. See how much it sucks now from the rain and the super high winds we had yesterday/last night. Also, I'd avoid Boquet, Spunky, Pine till Spring.

Boquet: Run off from rain that runs across the road...around blind corners
Spunky: Sand, sand, more sand.
Pine: Sand, sand, sand, leaf carpets, rocks and other debris that hide in said leaf carpets.

Update:

Little Tujunga is virtually clear IF you take it from the 210 side. From the 14 there are a lot of sand patches and runoff as that side hugs the canyon wall and is shadowed the majority of the time. I'd highly recommend going North from the 210 side. Have fun!

I love Mulholland as much as the next guy but it's just too hot on the weekends if you get what I mean. Last two times I've gone someone in our party was ticketed. One was legit but the other was total BS. Somehow the middle guy in a 45-50 mph caravan gets hit for 63mph...Chips gotta earn that dolla I guess. I'm up for Little T whenever but if it's Mulholland I'll wait till this:

Dec. 30th. It's predominantly S2k's but they don't discriminate. It's this or tracking at SoW that weekend.

Back to the topic of the club...

Does anyone have graphic design access and/or hookups to make some prototype stickers or something with the designs shared on the last couple pages?

I'm on board with the OP, making an active, thriving SoCal 86 club.

Any thoughts?

I don't want to take any credit for design, but I really like the one above. Maybe we could try the S and AL in White with 86 in Red?

Here are some more attempts, one with background, the other is transparent. I can overlay the transparent image on top of any other image. I did not want to pull one off the web since it could be copyrighted. So, I used one I had. I know it's poor quality :P

I'm moving down from Barstow/ apple valley area to Ventura.. Santa Paula to be exact.. I tried going thru the list to see anyone is around the area but its way to cluttered.. So any one around Santa Paula/ Ventura.. I know sand canyon isn't far off as I drive by it every time I head that way.. Looking forward to meeting some people that have the same types of interests .. These places here suck
