That noise was 100% related to the whiteline top mounts used by a few customers. Whiteline had a batch of defective top mounts that unfortunately made it out to customers. But NO noise with the springs and no need to run the top mounts either. We offer the dealer option front camber bolt to pair with our springs.

Thanks Andrew,

If i understand, you give a dealer camber bold with the set of your springs? Or the OEM bolt already installed on the car can do the job? Just want to know if i need to buy something at the dealer.

We offer the OEM dealer option camber bolts for an extra 10 bucks to be included in the package with the springs.

It's just an option, not a requirement, but it helps get a little extra negative camber for better handling. Without the bolts you will not have any issues with tire wear or anything.

Question again, with the racecomp spring compare to the hotchkis springs, hotchkis say they have setup the springs rate to have a neutral setup, no oversteer and no understeer, what's about your spring? Because i know, you used a different springs rate.

Can you clarify this a little bit? Do you know if you have keep the oversteer feeling? I ask this because i want to keep this without starting to install the sway bar kit.

Thanks.

Mike,
Just to clarify, a neutral handling car doesn't mean no oversteer or understeer. What it gives you is a car that doesn't inherently do either. Want some oversteer? Trail brake into a corner to keep the weight transfered forward and you get oversteer. Get on the gas too much too early and you will see some understeer. What a neutral handling car gives you is the choice of how the car handles.

Couldn't get them until beginning of November in Japan; at my door 10 days later.

Maybe Switchlanez got a set from the first batch?

You can order the STI springs from japanparts.com.

Since STI doesn't sell dampers for the BRZ yet, one can assume that the STI springs were made for the OEM dampers. Considering the springs only drop the car by about 0.6", I'm guessing the springs are similar to the OEM springs in terms of stiffness.

I haven't been able to find the rates for them. Furthermore, they're not listed on STI's website. Personally, I don't think they're anything special if they don't list the spring rates.
