a lot of cars just have wires made for all of the cars in the line up. an example would be on lower end cars with manual windows. the wires for the automatic windows will still be there, but the motor will be missing. its just more economical for car manufacturers to design one component set and install them in all of the cars rather than have specially designed ones for every different model variant

Since we don't have auto A/C, I wonder if there are any constant voltages running through the connector. Glove box light anyone? I need a multimeter.

Were you able to see where this cable plugs in to?

Sorry, had my plans get altered yesterday and forgot to check after getting home... Luckily I am working from home today! I was able to check and I have the same thing as you guys... Just a plug hanging/hidden in some other cables.

Do you guys suppose this for some type of floor lighting option that wasn't offered?

Oh I see I'm not alone in thinking it is for lighting!

Yeah the BRZ brochure had the option but the dealers didn't have any of them in stock. Led footwell lights. Pretty sure it's for that. In my opinion LOL.

It's where you plug in the flux capacitor. Either that or it is for the module that makes sure your floorboard does not fall out when you blow your manifold.

Yeah, I never quite understood that floorboard moment in F&F...
