off the top of your head to you know if the stage 1 and 2 are the same casting? as in does it have the fittings in the manifold to upgrade and add the intercooler and lines?

Ive been tryn to find this out a while but never heard from them on it.

Found this video of the supercharger on the group Facebook page. Definitely makes me want to get it from Innovative as it sounds cool and looks good! The strut bar even fits!

For most of the FI packages they have been involved with in the past, they usually come out with stage 2 as being upgradeable from stage 1. Usually they are the same casting

They have said in is thread that upgrading from the basic Stg 1 to an intercooler will be possible.

These components will also be included with the intercooled kit by default.

Sure it is... if you assume the SC kit has a relatively flat torque curve, but dropping off slightly closer to redline (like the stock curve but bumped higher).

Then just use math HP = TQ*RPM/5252

The AVO makes more peak torque relative to it's peak HP because it makes considerably more torque in the midrange than it does at the higher rpm. If it held on to the torque a little higher, than you would be seeing 250+ hp with the same peak tq.

But you may be correct. The SC torque curve may drop off just as hard. In which case it would make very similar peak numbers as the AVO, but better under 4000 rpm.

I surfed a bit yesterday and reliability wise seems to be the way to go. On the S2000 forums I found people with 100k miles on the clock and everything is still working fine...
However in general I'm wondering how to avoid problems in case of controls from the authorities...
