On a more serious note here are some of the pics from when we went up to Staten island to do some relief work.

The huge generator we brought with us. Guess who had to drive in Staten island with this thing attached to the truck...

Slept in the sanctuary of a church.

My corner

Right next to section 8 housing wooo

Nice gated fence

We rented a uhaul so we could deliver hot water heaters to people who needed them.

Lets just say finding a uhaul on Staten island is impossible but I worked my magic.

Mainly what we did each weekend was come in and muck out basements. We ended up leading 600+ volunteers 2 of the weekends we were there.

Some pics I took the first 4 days we were there.

This was a pet store the food was all rotten.

Some of the less damaged houses.

Cars were everywhere every single one of them were totaled

They had turned the parking lot next to the park into a trash pile. This thing only got smaller after the third week we were there.

Stuff was moved like this shipping container

My brother and I after a hard days muck

Went back another week to bring some christmas cheer and ended up on the local news.

I suddenly feel compelled to spend my vacation next week in NY. When did you go, and were you working with an organization to help out?

Went at the beginning of november for 4 days then came back the next weekend. It was a church group that I went with. I use to do alot of volunteer work when I was younger and I enjoy doing this kind of stuff. My dad helped out in New Orleans right after Katrina rescuing people who wouldn't leave their pets.

The first day we were there we mucked out a couple houses. The second day they asked the 9 of us to lead 500+ volunteers since we looked like we knew what we were doing. So we ended up doing this every time we were there. I'll tell you what its the greatest feeling in the world to give someone hope where there is none.

Why is it called the fourth brake light mod when the photo only shows three brake lights illuminated?

The third brake light is above the trunk inside the car. This is where most cars have them located. So technically adding this one makes 4.

So you completely disconnected the traditional 3rd brake light? I love the look of that mod and am dying to get rid of that ugly light in my rearview mirror, but have reservations on whether it is a safety hazard. The car is so low compared to SUV/trucks in stock form, just concerned some asshole wont notice the lights and destroy my car at a red light/stop sign. Have you had any buddies follow you at night to test visibility? Are you planning to remove the now obsolete light?
Loving the build so far, and much respect for your community service!

I don't plan on removing the third brake light since I know how much of a pain it is. I've got some packages coming in this week with new parts so keep a lookout for updates through the weekend.
