What about other things like airbags? If it weighs around 2400 lbs with 200 hp/150tq then I am in love!!! Thats the same p2w ratio as a GC 3.8 track.

Guys, did you notice how the rollcage nicely fits into these pre-cut (i think) holes in the dash? WIN.

Edit: found a picture. The yellow arrow points to the actual factory-made holes (maybe it'll have a plastic cover when not in use? most likely, i believe) and to the left of it, you can see (for some reason) Gazoo Racing has made alternative holes and placed the Rollcage there.

Rear bench weighs 10 lbs, passenger seat weighs 35 lbs, that was included in the interior weight reduction . . . I also think they either deleted AC or it never came with it(optional), since the vents are fake.

the admin from the 4agze forum mentioned a while back that it will have holes in the dash for the purpose of adding a rollcage

Nah. I think a roll cage in a car this size will be lighter than that, and also there was probably a lot more than 75 lbs of weight reduction. But 2555 might not be as far fetched as I initially thought (I'm trying not to get my hopes up until it's official).

Yeah that was reported a long time ago... between the pre-cut holes in the dash and the engine mount points being the same as EJ20, they're really trying to make this car track and mod friendly.

Bull. Shit. That's 85 ft-lb/L, Ferrari territory (89 with the 458), and Ferrari has fancy continuously changing profile cams and a complete disregard for noise and fuel economy. With 7400rpm redline max power comes at about 7000 probably, which someone computed to be about 150ft-lbs at that speed. Max torque isn't going to be much higher than that, 160 at best I think.

I don't think we have confirmed figures yet, but I can't see this exceeding the 2GR-FSE specific torque, which is a tad under 80 lb-ft/L. The 2GR has the advantage of larger cylinders so theoretically less thermal loss. Because they're using a Subaru based engine which doesn't have enough height to accomodate sophisticated intake timing systems, I think this is the best they can do (160lb-ft).

Because the red bar is at the 7400 mark, I assume that means max power happens around 7000. Combine that with the upper limit of 160lb-ft and I think we won't be seeing 210hp even, which if other people's calculations are mistake free requires 157.5lb-ft at 7000rpm.

Dude, everyone on this forum is "certain" about everything. That's why making a simple post here is like entering a fight to the death.

Here is a better angle. You can see the partial circle closer to the pillar but since they added the stress plate with the embossed holes, it looks like they had to fabricate another opening in the dash.

If that is what it looks like, then I'm surprised. Because it adds weight.

Have other race cars had such things?
