Mazda MX-5 GT Race Car...WOW

http://www.netcarshow.com/mazda/2011-mx-5_gt_race_car/

Just read the article.

Top speed:160MPH
0-60: 3 seconds
Weight:850kg
Power: 275hp

Granted it is a full on race car....but it shows that the potential is there.

Only difference is HP. But I see Boosted Miata's out at the track on HPDE days that pack that power.

From what I've heard....This car is not boosted.

Spec Miatas average about 120hp.

"My" Miata makes about 150hp but is a canyon car. Technically not mine, but I take care of it and plan to buy it this year so close enough lol. Owned by my buddy and business partner that drives it only when he lends his truck out to someone. Another friend of mine bought an LS2 and lent it to a Wyotech somewhere and let them fit it into his Miata over a semester. Sweet car now. Roars like it should have from day 1.
